[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Another lovely tinted skin serum! Again, it’s for those that like their skin dewy and light catchy and not for those who prefer a matte finish.
This really does have a serum feel to it – as well it should as ingredients include squalane, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid – and gives a low coverage that’s not so low you can’t detect it but is low enough that you have more of a real skin look.
Actually, you can adjust the amount very easily and go over again if you think you need to but I found it was immediately ‘perfecting’ and didn’t need to double up with another go around. I used a ceramide capsule underneath as moisturiser before applying but later thought that perhaps I’d only need to do that if my skin was very dry and it probably contributed to the dewiness of the finish. I liked the combination a lot though – very silky feeling skin.
The shade I have is spot on for my tone at the moment – it’s called Matira and is a neutral beige shade. In fact, it’s the second lightest of 9 shades and if I’d chosen this myself I think I would have (wrongly) gone darker so that’s something to look out for – go a shade lighter than you think you might be. If you’re hesitant to be shade matched, now might be the time for The Body Shop’s Foundation Shade Adjusting Drops HERE – I think Make Up Revolution has a similar product and I’m surprised there isn’t more of a push on these given the situation. It takes the edge off nervous on-line foundation buying.
The upshot here is that this is a gorgeous level of coverage for all ages – it’s especially good for older complexions because it moves with your skin, not against it, and gives your face a smooth and energised finish. It’s pricey at £44 but a couple of drops should see you sorted. It’s silicone free so not likely to disagree with any moisturisers you put underneath. Find it at SpaceNK HERE, non affiliate HERE.

How does this one compare to the Perricone version Jane?
They’re very similar except I would say this has less of an oil feel to it. I think perhaps it has a little less pigment too x
This is what I’m after too. I’ve now accepted that I don’t actually need much coverage at all, and a finish where you can see skin is massively more flattering and youthful at my age. “Moves with your skin, not against it” says it all. I want blurring, radiant, healthy glow. Unfortunately my perfect fit, the incredible Givenchy Teint Couture Balm has been replaced with City Balm and it’s not the same. Can you keep a look out for balm textures please Jayne?
Of course – I don’t know of any upcoming I have to say. Let me have a look about. x
Oops, I spelled your name wrongly despite knowing better. I know a Jayne. Sorry.
don’t worry! I get called all sorts, including Brit :-))
Thank you so much for responding Jane. I bought the Perricone serum after your recommendation and so far I’m really enjoying it! I’ll keep this one up my sleeve as well. Thank you again!
Oh great, so pleased you like it. x
