[unpaid/sample] I meant to post the rest of the Un-Did products last week but time ran away with me… so here we are. First up Money Wash which I love from its head to toe. I’m just really drawn to the design of it, the name and the ombre effect of the bottle.
It’s best for skin that’s on the oily side (although I am side eyeing the catchall ‘non-specific skin types’ which I’ve never seen before and have no idea of the meaning…) and is good after-sport/gym wash to get rid of sweat and grime in a gentle foaming action. It’s on the skin for so little time that the inclusion of tumeric, niacinamide and lotus is almost neither here nor there but I see how they fit with the roots of the brand.
It’s a cooling, gel texture that goes to a light foam – very refreshing and no synthetic fragrance so it just smells clean and fresh. It feels like very good value at £16 HERE and an excellent choice for teen skin that’s misbehaving.
I wanted to test this out because of the magic words, ‘water tint’, but have to confess I didn’t love it. I would say that it’s well-suited for oilier skin types because I found it quite dry on my complexion despite having glycerin and hyaluronic acid in the mix. I’m also not a fan of a matte finish (aka glow killer) and the only link to water is that it ‘feels like water on the skin’ which it doesn’t.
All that said, if you struggle to find a matte finish, lightweight tint in the sea of glowy tinted moisturisers, this colour serum with aloe and chamomile might suit you very well indeed. It gives coverage enough to even out the skin tone and reduce the appearance of unevenness marks while being soothing and breathable (ish) and there are six shades. It’s reasonably priced at £19. I’ve been using the body oil melt all week (yes even in the heat and mainly on my arms) for the gorgeous sheen it gives without weighing on the skin. Everything is HERE. I’d love to see a cleansing balm from this brand then some shower gels. Please :-))
