[unpaid/sample] The perfect post for such a sunny, warm day. I’ve currently got a Chanel orange on my toe nails but I am very drawn to the creamy hot pink of Sydney as the next candidate when I change it up.
It’s the shade right in the middle here. I always forget that Mavala names their polishes after places around the world – the last in the row is Budva which I’ve actually been to. When I went it was part of Yugoslavia (so, a long time ago) and it’s the prettiest little place (in Montenegro) and also the hottest place I’ve ever been at 105 F or 40.5 C. It was back in the tanning days and I’ve never been so tanned in my life, neither before nor since, and also the food wasn’t great so what with swimming and walking I came home so trim. After pulling a bird’s foot out of some soup, we mainly lived on crisps and mayo from the corner shop. The first colour in the row is Figueria (Portugal).
The shades in this shot are Malapascua (Philippines) which is a shade of yellow I’d LOVE to wear but probably won’t unless I push myself out of my comfort zone, followed by creamy lilac Vancouver (at least I know where that is!) and geranium shade Tamarindo (Costa Rica). Gosh, if anything is going to get you in the travel mood, it’s this collection.
You can find all the shades HERE for £5.27 each.

As ever Mavala colours are so pretty! They have some of the best pinks and oranges on the market and always lots to choose from, you can go global in just one brush stroke. I’ve never had yellow toenails, not my colour, much as it’s beautifully sunny.
Wel..l I read this article whilst eating my lunch and nearly spat it out at the holiday food story. Beats my fly in the ice cream on Naxos! I hope you recovered 🙂
Have a lovely afternoon Jane xx
haha… yes, it wasn’t a nice discovery but neither would I be happy with a fly in my icecream!
Such cute colours and as always you present them so alluringly, matching the bottles with the backdrop. I will hopefully run into these polishes soon and get my hands on either of them!
Thank you Jenny! I’ve challenged myself and am wearing the yellow shade today!
