[unpaid/sample] Last week I showed you the mini-set from the OPI x X Box collection but this week I’ve got some different shades – still part of the same collection – in big sizes. Some are the same, but it’s useful to see if there’s anything to go full size on.
I hadn’t realised there are actually 12 shades in the collection. When you see them all lined up together they’re like jelly beans – all those glossy, bright and cheerful colours that make you smile. In this picture, you can see Trading Paint, Pixel Dust and Racing For Pinks. I love a baby pink for nails – it always make them look a bit 60’s but with more shine than was available then. In fact, there is a lot about this collection that could take you back to Cutex circa 1960-70.
The shade that’s really caught my eye is the first one, Quest For Quartz, which is a mauve toned beige with silver sparkles. If you like a nude nail, this is something really quite different. The middle shade is Heart & Con-Sole – a fiery red-orange with gold shimmers. The third shade is Suzi Is My Avatar – a creamy peach shade.
On the wheel from left to right: Pixel Dust, Trading Paint, Racing For Pinks, Heart & Con-Sole, Suzi Is My Avatar and Quest for Quartz. There are amazing swatches of this collection HERE. You can find all the shades on Amazon HERE.

I’ll be very interested to watch that – although the past decade has shown beauty oompanies being far more rigorous in what they use and what they eliminate. Information is so key to choice and personal risk assessment – I mean, we all cross the road every day but we might do it more carefully if we had stats to hand 🙂
Oh my, these are gorgeous the best I’ve seen from OPI in a long while. So wearable for spring & summer.
Hope my local salon has them when I visit next month!
Yes, they’re really cheerful!
