[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad]  This is really an 11th hour post because the Accessorize sale is drawing to a close – I’ve got two of their beach bags and absolutely love them. One is sold out (grr) but the other is still in stock and I’ve included non-sale because I think they’re good value. Whenever I’m on holiday I always have a touch of beach bag envy – I can ignore the Heidi Klein kaftans and the £80 Boden swimsuits but I do have a little sigh of wistfulness at those simple but elegant beach bags that can hold the proverbial kitchen sink. Accessorize has had a strong beach bag game this year so I’ll cover a few finds but do have a look – I’ll also cite the handbag style backpacks (as opposed to gap year backpacks) as a very good buy when you want to be hands free which are really reasonably priced. Max had his first design job at Accessorize where he made some great friends and had a wonderful time and now my friend Simon works there so I feel quite fond of this brand.

I’ll get the backpacks out of the way but these are were £35 and are now £10.50 HERE. I have a backpack style bag and use it all the time – I got fed up of one-shoulder ache and I’ve got used to having both hands free. I swear they’re better for posture – there must be some benefit to distributing the weight across both shoulders.

This is one of the bags I have and I love those gold pineapples. This feels like it has all the right vibes for the beach or a picnic or for just looking gorgeous with a linen shirt and shorts. It’s £30 HERE.

This comes in two colourways – yellow and pink but I think I prefer the yellow. It’s such a sunshine shade that’s often hard to wear as clothes but accessories is another matter. This is in the sale down from £30 to £9 (yes you read that right!) HERE and I can’t imagine there are many left at that price.

This is so versatile! It’s either beach or smart and there aren’t many bags that can do that. The double stripe raffia bag is £35 HERE.

This isn’t in the sale but I think it’s great value at £27 – it’s beach, cocktail or party and speaks to the power of a tassel! It’s HERE.

My final pick is this sassy gold leopard print – it was £35 and it’s now £17.50 HERE. Again, one to move fast on if you fancy it because they must be down to the very last few. It’s extremely capacious – I thought if I still had my Honey she would look very cute being transported in that ;-). It’s exactly what I’d expect to see in the South of France – add big sunglasses and a glass of Cote de Provence.

NB: The bag in the main picture looks like it came straight from the souk – it’s reduced from £35 to £17 HERE.
