Ok, so as I mentioned in Beauty Whispers a while back, a black fragrance has emerged – a world first (unless you count that mouldy bottle of Charlie circa 1971 that got left in the airing cupboard for a few decades). Black Afgano is created by Nasomatto (translated as Crazy Nose) headed by Alessandro Gualtieri. Controvercially, Black Afgano aims to capture the best qualities of hashish; a temporary state of bliss (like we’d know…ahem!). Why is it black? Because it contains tobacco, coffee, oud and hashish. I wanted to know if it stains the skin….apparantly not, but I won’t be putting it anywhere near my white silks. £98 at Liberty.

The fragrance sounds interesting, but I am not sure about the colour at all; I am sure they could have obtained colourless extracts of those ingredients, as none of them are new to perfumery.
It’s a bit gimmicky to me.
I want to try the Nasomatto perfumes soooooooo much, I’m intrigued with this one but the one I’m most curious is Narcotic Venus.
well, being fair i think they all sound very interesting, love creations that go further.
Any suggestion how can I try them?
Thanks
