[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] At last, this liner is back in stock! I’ve pressed pause on my Trish posts because I happened to get samples at a time when stock was low, but here we are. Aubergine is a slightly heathered brown – just the very lightest touch of purple. It’s got some sheen to it, too, so if you’re wearing it on the lid, as opposed to inside the lid, you get a bit of a gleam. I’m more and more turning to brown kohl over black and Aubergine rings the changes subtly.
That annoying hair! Never mind. Slightly different format today but I thought it’s the best way of seeing how Trish McEvoy Deep Aubergine Gel Liner looks on. The liner is a gel formula which is perfect for intensity and very easy application – this just glides over the lid and then dries quickly.
From the same brand, I also love their blue liner, Arabian Nights, which I think I’ve featured here before. It’s just super sultry and ultra intense.
You get a sharpener too so you always have the perfect fit – gel wears down quite quickly I think and a good tip to get the best possible sharpen is to put your liners in the fridge for a bit before you do it. At £22 these feel very reasonable to me – lovely quality, beautifully glidey and soft … everything you want in a liner, basically. It’s HERE.

Just ordered it and it was reduced to £19.80
oh excellent!
Fabulous Jane! I am also looking forward to seeing what may come next from Lisa Eldridge. I miss my lovely old Double Wear Blackened Plum pencil by EL which was deep, cool purple with no red in it. I will see what other colours are in stock chez Trish! x
oh I really hope Lisa will do liners – I’ve asked but no reply!
How are these comparable to VB liners Jane, I’ve been slowly changing my make up to hers as I’m impressed with all so far.
Yes I’m a big fan of VB liners too – I think there isn’t the depth of colour in TM as in VB but that said, I find VB can be a bit uncontrollable at times and that’s not the case with TM. If you want that whole melt-smudge thing, VB is your choice – if you want more precision, it’s TM 🙂
