Okay, so I know what honey is (obviously) but I’d never heard of camelina. It’s a flower that goes by many names including False Flax, Wild Flax and German Sesame! Apparently, it’s full of omega fatty acids. However, what’s really offering something different in the Bee Good Honey & Camelina Exfoliator is that the skin sloughing is done by lavender flowers. They’re milled so that they become almost granular and when I tested this out, worked really well to leave my skin smooth. Funnily enough, there’s no lavender scent.
In use, it feels creamy and not abrasive (although harsher than you might think for a milled lavender flower) but still effective in doing what it’s supposed to do – I’m more used to using enzymatic exfoliators and I’d say that you don’t get that intense silky feel that you do with those, but nonetheless, it’s ticking all the right boxes and great value too at £10.50 because a little goes a long way.
