[unpaid/sample] If you like liquid or creme blush, it would be hard not to fall for Delilah’s newest launch, In Bloom Liquid Blush. I find the easiest way to apply this lightweight texture is to add a dot to the palm of your hand and use your brush to swirl, pick up and apply. I find that both the blushes, but perhaps Peony more than Sweet Pea, are very well pigmented so you really do not need much at all.
I’ve got to give a shout out to the Foundation Brush seen here (£28) because it’s just such a soft and supple brush that makes application of the blush a dream. On top of it is the Delilah Pure Light Liquid Radiance Highlighter which is honestly one of the most beautiful highlighters I’ve ever come across. It’s seamless, non-sparkly and just gives the skin a water-light finish that is beautifully flattering. I even put some on the top of my hands and I don’t think I’ve ever been moved to do such a thing before!
There are two shades – the one I have been experimenting with is Halo, and Lunar is slightly more pink based. It gives a lovely blur of brilliance that I’d recommend in a heartbeat as a face Back to the blush which is really what I’m talking about today. In Bloom is a great blush for summer – it’s water based so it feels like just a whisper on the skin that leaves the lightest of sheens with no oily sensation.
In the swatch you can see the highlighter, then Sweet Pea and Peony (bottom to top).
On my face, I’m wearing Sweet Pea and a tiny touch of Halo (see what I mean about the glow?!). It’s £34 and the blush is £22. If you use this link HERE and code britbeautyblog20 , you’ll receive 20% off all products, bar already discounted and bundles.
