[unpaid/samples/affiliate/ad] Hate to be the ‘influence’ here but these new blushes from MAC are so good, I’m going to do nothing but rave.

MAC Glow Play Blush

They are in a ‘bouncy’ texture which makes them soft and almost wet to the touch (if you wanted, you could press your finger into them, but don’t) but hold a powder shape. I love a creme blush any day of the week over a powder one but this is creme enough to fit the bill.

On the cheeks, you get a diffused colour that blends really nicely – pigment is quite high so choose your colour carefully (I’d recommend Groovy at the end there for a suit-all, healthy looking, coral based flush) and use a similar (or same) brush as you use for powders. It will pick up no problem at all and allow you to build well.

In the swatch, first is That’s Peachy, next is So Natural and last is Groovy. They’ve got a bit of a sheen to them which doesn’t really translate to the skin but neither do they look flat matte. The blushes come with a little plastic cover which you need to be careful to keep – these have a high moisture content and it will prevent evaporation. There are 11 shades, so something for everyone. They’re £24 each (postage is free as are the 3 samples you are entitled to on any purchase) HERE, non affiliate HERE.
