[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I’m slightly wary of Pride related products because the movement has become so commercialised which moves things away from the main messaging. But, this (UK) Nails Inc Relationship Status : Proud set gives a healthy 25% of profits during June to Stonewall. I’m particularly interested in their work with schoolchildren – 75,000 reports of bullying of young LGBT people can’t go un-noticed and un-challenged.

It’s also a nicely edited set with colours that are joyful and summery – New Bond Street is one of my all time favourite Nails Inc shades. From left to right: Buckingham Palace Road, Grosvenor Place, Shaftsbury Avenue and New Bond Street.

There’s something very swimming pool about Buckingham Palace Road – it’s just a beautiful, solid shade of happy that makes me think of holidays and white-washed streets drenched in sun. It’s also a perfect match with gold or white so whatever you have, time to bring it out of the wardrobe.

I’ve also got a lot of time for Grosvenor Place, a creamy lavender shade that’s going to be gorgeous with the glut of floral dresses around just now. With any of these pastel shades, it’s good idea to do a white coat underneath to balance the tone and make them pop a bit more.

I’m sorry the nail wheel is so ropy now – I’m making sure I re-use the ones I have into the ground before buying more because they are just plastic nonsense but as yet, I haven’t found a good alternative. The set is £22 which is positively a bargain for four Nails Inc polishes (£5.50 each if my maths is correct) and easy to break up for small gifts. It’s HERE, non affiliate HERE.
