So, this is the body version of the highly successful Golden Glow for Face which was the hit of summer 2014. It actually came in as the No.1 selling self-tan product in the premium market for that year, and even Clarins will admit that they were taken by surprise! I think we could easily expect that Clarins Golden Radiance Plus Glow Booster For Body will be an equal runaway success.
If you don’t know how it works, you simply add a couple of drops into your regular face product – or body, with the new product – which means that you can tailor your tan far more carefully than just going with someone else’s choice of brown. For the body, you’ll need 4-6 drops, but you can play around with quantities and intensity just as you please by mixing it with your favourite body lotion. The Clarins Golden Radiance Plus Glow Booster For Body is an absolute boon for the pale toned who often need so little colour before it all goes wrong.
I used the Clarins Golden Radiance Plus Glow Booster For Face last year – loved it – but I haven’t given the body version a test-run yet. I found the facial version to be even and natural looking which is just about all you need. Obviously, the body version is at a much higher concentrate.
If you do want to get started with Clarins Golden Radiance Plus Glow Booster For Body then I strongly suggest that you get it as soon as you can – this one is likely to be an absolute sell out because it’s riding on the back of last year’s face product reputation. It’s on an early launch in Selfridges, if you can bear the postage, but based on the face version, I’d highly, highly recommend.

I have the Glow Booster on my wish list for so long! I tried to get it at the airport last November but it had all sold out! This sounds like it would be perfect for as I am very pale, in direct sunlight, my legs look like they belong in twilight!

I bought this today, I’ve finally popped my Clarins cherry as it were! I really hope this works for me as I’ve never been able to get to grip with self-tanners, not least of all because they always seem to go streaky and I don’t like the idea of hanging around waiting for things to dry before getting dressed.
Also been a bit phobic of sweating it off! (Nice!)
What really appealed was that I could use it with my own moisturiser and the lady said I wouldn’t need a mitt to apply (remains to be seen, not tried it yet!).
Here’s hoping I don’t get orange knees and/or streaky patches!
wonder if you can use the body one for the face as well?
Well, I’m not sure I would.. it’s a higher concentrate for a start.. I am sure it wouldn’t harm your face but you might end up much more tanned than you were expecting!
Yes!!! Definitely want to try this, love the Golden Glow for face.

I have been using face one since it launched and love it! I have such a high hopes for the body one! I can’t wait until this come to usa
I tend to apply body lotion in section; arms, upper body, mid section and legs. I assume I’d have to apply a drop or two to each? I’ll give it a try. Thanks Jane.
Yes I imagine so.. I’ll check the instructions.
It’s 4-6 drops for each area you want to tan x
Just applied for first time tonight. Gone with 4 drops per limb mixed with Vaseline cocoa butter moisturiser. There’s no guide colour so you really are working blind. I buffed with my St Tropez mitt after application. Applied mixed with La Roche Posey to my face. Will report back in the morning…..
Yes please do let me know how you get on. x
Ok so 4 drops with moisturiser gives you the mildest of mild glows. That’s all. It’s certainly no St Tropez. I would say more like using one of the Dove moisturisers that has a little tanning element in it but perhaps even lighter.
I took a before and and after of my legs and couldn’t see any major difference.
However on the plus side. It’s not streaked. Or gone darker on the usual areas such as knees/elbows. And I do like the fact you can mix it with your own facial skin care as lots of tanners even tho designed for the face personally make me itch
Going to repeat again tonight using 6 drops on the legs and see how I get on.
If you were wanting a just stepped off the plane from a week in the sun look you’d need to apply a few times I think. Plus I think it would be a more expensive way than buying a regular Clarins tanning product.
Thanks so much for the feedback.. it’s really useful to know your thoughts.
Thanks Jane. I found the same as Ruth, 4-6 drops gave very little colour. Unfortunately what colour I did get was very streaky, even after leaving it an hour before putting clothes on, I even have stripes where my jeans were. Disappointing so far but I’ll persevere.
Second application update. 6 drops on legs. Not much change. 6 drops on arms and hands. They’re quite tanned now! Possibly a little orange.
After that I engaged my brain and realised that 6 drops on a surface area the size of my legs is going to get a different result to 6 drops on arms/hands!
Therefore I think it’s trial and error really. Plus value wise I think you’d get more value from buying a regular tanning lotion and mixing it with your moisturiser.
I already have the face version which I really love so I will be trying to get hold of this body version asap. I need abit of colour with this rubbish weather.
