[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] We’ve got a couple of weddings this summer – one that’s been postponed twice (it might be three times actually now I think about it) and is now finally happening so this beautiful candle feels like wonderful timing and as they’re both taking place in gardens, it couldn’t be more appropriate.
It’s not quite as generous in throw as the Cocktail candle that I reviewed a couple of weeks ago but its still very much present giving a bright floral aroma using peony, jasmine and carnations. Actually, the creaminess of the peonies is what comes forth to me more than the other two flowers and I feel I can detect some green, leafy notes too.
I’ve got it sitting next to me as I write – not burning at the moment – and I’m still getting lovely flowery wafts. Jasmine is such a power note that it can really take over but in this case, it doesn’t – it just sits in the background being pretty like a good bridesmaid! There’s also a diffuser if that’s your preference. This is a limited edition which launching at 7pm today (HERE) with a discount if you subscribe to their mailer, but if you’re now thoroughly in the mood for a wedding candle that is available right this minute, I could not more recommend the Jo Malone London Orange Blossom candle in a lace design glass container. Orange Blossom is my very favourite Jo Malone London scent.
It’s £55 HERE. A great bridesmaid gift too, I think, because after the wax is gone, the laced glass remains.

I wouldn’t want to throw that box away!
I hadn’t come across wedding candles until yesterday when I spotted this one in Next and decided to buy it for my brother and his fiancée who are getting married in a few weeks: https://www2.next.co.uk/g268123s5/399955
I know – I wish there was less branding on the label and more illustration to make it more about the bride and groom.
