[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Milky toners are suddenly making their appearance – it seems to be a trend from Korea (of course). Often the milky versions of these daily skin softeners contain something like rice or oat, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here although the fluid is ‘soft’ and leaves a hydration film on the skin.
Charlotte Tilbury Glow Toner definitely is an upgrade from your average acid toner with a variety of ingredients ranging from shea encapsulated peptides to prickly pear and niacinamide – not forgetting hyaluronic and red clover. So, it’s doing the same thing as Pixi Glow and similar but from what I can see, a little bit better. I haven’t done the 4 week test to see whether it reduces pores and I’m not going to – I realise that if I am using this type of product it’s very much better that I don’t do it in summer where all I’m doing is erasing all signs of my expensive TanLuxe glow!
Suffice to say that it’s a more grown up skin resurfacing tonic than most and if you’re not self-tanning on your face, a very easy way to introduce a mild exfoliant to your routine. They definitely pay dividends in terms of smoothness (in both look and feel) although personally, I think sensitive skins might want to start with every other day and work up from there. It’s £40 HERE so definitely a more luxury version of a tonic although I notice SpaceNK are selling a 30ml version for £15 HERE. What I am using not quite every day but they’re seeing a lot of action are Crystal Happiness Lip Butter, £26 HERE of which I’m on number three (or 4!) at least for it’s balmy lip conditioning and hint of milky pink, and the Charlotte Tilbury Creme Bronzer which I love. The Light shade which I’d recommend as a good all rounder unless your tone is very deep is always out of stock – and still is but I’ll start to keep a closer eye and if I spot it, I’ll flag when it’s in stock again.

I started using a gentle exfoliating cleanser from Skingredients about 2 weeks ago after Wayne Goss recommended the brand. It’s been game changing for me – some rosacea bumps that had persisted for 6 months or so and resisted treatment with other products have all but disappeared. The product I’m using is their PreProbiotic Cleanse Hydrating Cleanser that contains PHA and is gentle enough to use around the eyes – I’m absolutely thrilled with it and am so glad I saw Wayne’s review video. Thoroughly recommend it!
That’s a great recommendation, thank you x
