[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Older skin and drier skin types will like this moisturising tinted serum from Sculpted By Aimee. This brand impresses me more with every launch – I have not seen a ‘bad’ product yet which makes me think the formulators are top of their game. This tinted serum is dewy on the skin, as lightweight as you could possibly want and more skin care than make up.
I can’t believe I’ve smudged my lipstick here – but you can see how the tint has evened out the tone slightly and given a really radiant finish. It’s so much of a swoosh-and-go product I can see it becoming a regular go-to. I’m wearing shade 2.5 (there are 20 shades) and think I could possibly go one deeper given that my tone is warm with self tan and a little bit of sun I’ve picked up.
2.5 is below. 2.0 is above. The composition of the tint is high in skin care ingredients rather than make up ingredients – hyaluronic, Centella Asiatica water and peptides along with SPF20. Surprisingly, it’s supposed to be a matte finish but I really am not finding it so – especially if you want to put any serums or SPFs under it. I’d think twice about putting it on oily or shiny skin. SPF20 isn’t really high enough for anything other than incidental sun so you do need to watch out for that but otherwise, this is a lovely product. It’s £23 which I feel is reasonable – Sculpted is a cleverly priced brand just skimming below ‘luxury’ prices to fit as a premium high street. Boots stocks Hydra Tint HERE.

Sounds lovely! And looks fab – “just you, not the makeup” feel – but I have feeling you now found some algorithm for your skincare that keeps you radiant, clear and smooth no matter what, Jane 😉 . Yep, also price wise lovely! Sun protection within the makeup formulation is nice, of course, but considering real amounts of stuff you need to use to get that protection I’d not rely solely on the skin tint product for that. I only can think of lipstick in this case – the layer is relatively thick AND we do reapply it, so gimme more spf there (but don’t ruin good formula’s texture-wise! Am I asking too much? Really? Mmm? 🙂 )
Yes, it’s for incidental use, not full sun use – still lovely and thanks for the compliments! Always very nice to receive :-))
You look radiant!
Ear-scratches to Dora 🙂
thank you!
