[unpaid/sample] I know aluminium tubes are so much better environmentally (endlessly recyclable) and many brands are starting to use them as standard, but gosh, they crumple up so much. A new thing looks like an old thing from the first squeeze. I need to have a better mindset over this I know and a good case in point is the newest release from a favourite brand, Malin + Goetz. As you know, I am happy to give away product samples to friends and family and M+G is one of my most requested – most recently, Lucy has fallen for their body lotion and I gave my nephew M+G skin care last year and he loved it. It’s a suit-everyone brand that is tidily edited (doesn’t have a crazy amount of products), visually paired back but perfect in components.
First thing to say is that you don’t get a lot of foam – don’t expect oodles of bubbles – it’s more of a volumising of the cream because there are no sulphates. Next thing to say is that if you have dry skin, this will be an absolute dream for you – jojoba milk, calming probiotics and meadowfoam seed oil (one of my favourite ingredients and I insisted on having it my Cleansing Clouds) give you a creamy, balmy cleanse that’s efficient, pleasant and leaves no sign of tautness because it’s laced with skin loving fatty acids.
This is a high recommend if you need to switch to more emollient cleansers during winter or if you know the cold will snap the moisture out of your skin – no matter what type you are, but particularly if you are drier and prefer a wash-off. It’s pH balanced and I forgave the crumply tube the moment I tried it – in fact, I see it now as a perfectly imperfect thing and have only the occasional urge to smooth it out :-), You can find Malin + Goetz Foaming Cream Cleanser HERE for £28.

I was looking at this in SpaceNK on Saturday. The only thing I was unsure about was I have sensitive skin. But I have used their Detox Mask for years and love it. Thank you for the review.
so welcome!
You are right about aluminum tubes deforming way too easily, but this sounds so up my skin alley. I have that wonder of dry but sometimes blemish prone skin and I always have to walk the line between too stripping and too emollient. This sounds amazing.
(It just needs a flip cap because that is way too likely to go down the drain one day)
oh good point! It IS a delicious cleanser though…
