[unpaid/sample] Lanolips is the easy win for gifting – it’s nicely priced and a sterling lip balm that truly makes a difference to sore or dry lips. I feel like the lip balm expert as its something I use every day and if I don’t I pay for it. I just have to accept that my lips will always be a desert.
I haven’t seen this key ring option before – how handy. I would immediately attach it to that weird strap that’s in my handbag that I never quite know what to do with.
There’s a blue option too and both seem about the right price for office Secret Santa, containing the 101 Ointment which can be used anywhere as a highly emollient salve for cuticles, lips, a quick brow smooth, or anywhere that is sore or chapped. It’s incredible really that this was launched into the UK at a time when we were sceptical of lanolin (many of us were told that it wasn’t safe to put on nipples to soothe breastfeeding when our children were young and that notion stayed with us) and yet I never see anything alarmist about lanolin now. From what I can ascertain, the lanolin available now is far more purified than it was and therefore is considered safe. It’s £8.99 HERE.
The other option is this duo – a coconut infused 101 and Lemonade Lip Treatment, one of the very best lip smoothers I’ve ever come across. It uses lemon oil to act as a natural enzymatic exfoliant and lanolin to moisturise. The set is £15 HERE.
