[unpaid/purchases] I can’t believe my luck that a K Beauty store (called K-Miso Beauty) has opened very near me so I popped down at the weekend and of course left with several things. It’s quite a small space so their edit was perfect, including smaller, travel size products that are much easier for me to trial without feeling bad that it won’t get used up. I went more for the fun stuff than the serious skin care but there are a couple of ranges that I would like to try.

K Beauty

I bought Frudia Pomegranate Honey lip balm – bizarrely, it tastes of mint which I wasn’t expecting and it’s tinted lightly in a pink shade. Ingredients include pomegranate extract, ginger, honey and peppermint oil. It’s one of those textures that really stays on the lips ad doesn’t need endless topping up. Plus the jar is very sweet. It’s £8.

I also bought Holika Holika Soothing Aloe Gel which is perfect for stashing in the fridge to cool down after a hot day or use on over-sunned skin. I love the cucumber-ish aquatic smell of it. It’s £4.50.

My favourite thing is the Frudia Peach Serum Body Lotion (£4) which smells like a peachy Chewitt but a bit fresher. It’s definitely not like a fresh peach but neither is it candy overkill. It is extremely softening for the skin and I’m really happy with it for an occasional sweet treat – actually, it’s quite moreish so I don’t see it lasting very long. I like all the try-me sizes – you can have fun with products without feeling badly out of pocket.

The store has a small Tony Moly edit, some Missha make up, Etude House make up and Tocobo skincare and lipbalms which will be on my next shopping list. The K-Miso website is HERE.
