[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I did an Instagram post last week covering this product from CHANEL – I’ve been dying to try it and see how it measures up to the original Water Fresh Tint which I absolutely love. It’s somewhat different to the original in that it is more pigmented and I think ideally more for concealing or perfecting areas rather than an all-over tint. Perhaps when Tint comes back into stock, Complexion will be the concealing arm of that.
That’s not to say that it doesn’t work all over the face – it very much does, with slightly less of the water feel – it’s just that the accompanying brush isn’t really ideal for whole face but perfect for concealing or touching up.
There are 16 shades of CHANEL Les Beiges Water Fresh Complexion Touch so if you want it for the whole face you have more bespoke options for your tone. You can still see the pigment spheres in the ‘water’ base and they just blend seamlessly into a smooth, illuminating finish which is dewy without being shiny. I would say it’s less dewy than Tint and if you felt Tint was just a bit too sheer, you’ll be very pleased with this.
In the swatch, it’s B30 first which is the right shade for me followed by B40 which is a bit too warm for my tone just now. There’s less product – Touch is 20ml while Tint is 30ml and they’re both £51 (Tint out of stock everywhere still – really looking forward to doing the ‘back in stock’ post!). I’ve had to hunt around for the site with the most colours in stock (believe it or not, some are selling out already) and I’m sending you to Harvey Nichols HERE.

I just bought Chanel Les Beiges Water Fresh Complexion Touch shade B50 at Athens airport duty free. They seem to have a lot in stock. I love this product! I hesitate to call it a foundation because it feels so light and nourishing. It does even out one’s skin tone. The coverage is sheer to light-medium. The brush is tiny and useless. You just massage the product into your skin.
I also bought the Coco Rouge Baume in Passion Pink (such a lovely colour for summer) and the limited edition palette “Mediterranean” (great for summer evenings).
Thanks for your Les Beiges review.
those sound lovely! I agree the brush probably isn’t the best for a full face but if you’re just using it to conceal, it’s fine – and it’s ok for creme blush too.
Has anyone managed to find shade b30 back in stock in the UK? ( CHANEL Les Beiges Water Fresh Complexion Touch B30) Help a lady out please! Thank you!
Good luck 🙂
You can buy it online at next.
What is the most sensitive foundation for allergy’s and yet with cover and glow for the elderly
It’s difficult to say without knowing the type of sensitivity or what ingredient causes it. However, my daughter has very sensitive skin and she uses a mix of Avene day cream with a drop or two of (any) foundation in it although I found some Avene foundation in France that they don’t sell in the UK and she often uses that. You could try bareMinerals Complexion Rescue which never seems to cause any problems but I think your best bet, especially as you’re older, is to try using whatever foundation you already have mixed with moisturiser – you get much more glow and skin hydration that way which brings more light to the skin.
