[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It surely must be the case that Moroccanoil didn’t expect, from their beginnings with a bottle of hair smoothing oil, that they’d end up encompassing bath and body as well. I can remember first coming across the hair oil and falling for it completely when it was brand new to the UK. It’s still a household favourite to this day. The thing this brand did right from the get-go was use a more-ish fragrance – something not just associated with hair but an aroma you can smell anywhere and still feel its in the right place.

Moroccanoil Body Care Review

With that in mind, the brand has branched out into hand wash, body butter, body lotion, shower gel and body souffle – with plenty more to come, I am sure, as they’ve slowly been adding more products across the collection.

Moroccanoil Body Care Review

That Body Butter is completely sublime – it’s not one of those that feels like it is sitting on the skin. It’s properly silkening, leaving dry skin feeling supple and at ease. The scent – amberish-floral – lingers long enough that you smell delicious all day but it’s not completely overpowering. It’s something that finds its place on your skin very easily. You only need a very small amount of the butter because it’s super rich but if you prefer something less intense for, say, after the shower, the lotion is pleasingly lightweight with a dash of aloe for extra soothing.

Moroccanoil Body Care Review

The body butter is £32 – but feels right at that price, while the lotion is £25. If you already love the smell of Moroccanoil, then there’s nothing not to like here, but if you don’t know it, try and have a sniff in store because this body range only exists because so many people adore the fragrance.
