There is so much new Tilburyness on its way, I’m going to break it up into three posts, so everything gets a fair look in – I guess you could say that it’s Tilbury Day on BBB. Starting with the Charlotte Tilbury Mini Miracle Eye Wand. It’s awesome. I have absolutely no luck with concealers and virtually never wear them. Usually they’re so full of powder that they rush to every little crease and line to lie there for the rest of the day.
Apart from the fact that there are the unforgivable words ‘crow’s feet’ on the information, everything about this product delivers. Charlotte Tilbury Mini Miracle Eye Wand is a two step system to brighten, tighten and conceal the under eye area. Step 1 is a smoothing and hydrating complex containing hyaluronic acid, Salicornia (a succulent, salt tolerant plant), Acanthum (thistle) and Cyclodextrins (a stabliizer) and rice proteins. Both steps use a twist and brush method. So, you apply step one (I had to give mine a hand and pat in the product), leave it for a moment or two and then head to the concealing element, Step 2.
In the second formula, there are soft focus light reflecting particles (hopefully called ‘a million lights’), fine-coat Mother of Pearl (colour neutralizing), polypeptides for a longer term gain, and elastomers (silicone) for slip and blendability.
I saw it applied on a variety of skin tones yesterday, from very pale to deeper, Asian tones, and applied it myself early this morning. It just works SO well and doesn’t do that drying, crepeing thing that so many concealers do. Basically, sell the cat if you have to… it’s a massive, massive recommend from me and actually a bit of a relief that finally, finally, something actually works. I think those who will appreciate Charlotte Tilbury Mini Miracle Eye Wand most are older skin types who have the double whammy of fine lines and darker circles. I’m not saying it removes the look of lines, but there is a noticable smoothing effect and it definitely won’t make things worse. I’m already stressing about mine running out!
There are 5 shades of Charlotte Tilbury Mini Miracle Eye Wand, it’s £29, and launches in October. I’m hoping it might make it onto counter a bit sooner actually – I’ll keep you posted.

I love the look of this! It’s good to know that you saw it on a variety on skin tones, I sometimes think Charlotte Tilbury doesn’t have even darker shades even though I love the brand. Good to know!
*adds to shopping list…*
Ok, I’m seriously interested. I have a real issue finding a concealer that doesn’t make my fine lines any worse. I’ll be picking one of these up for sure!

I have the same problems with concealer that you do – and my solution is the same too! So I’m really looking forward to getting my hands on this. Thanks Jane
I’ve heard of this wand but you have the first post out there about it thank you. As a massive Ct fan I love knowing things first 🙂
