The long promised Hylamide Booster series from Deciem is finally making its way to shelves. I guess you’d say that these are for anyone that likes to tweak their skincare according to needs (I use a lot of Deciem products) so you could end up with a little line of these bottles and have pretty much a skincare wardrobe.
So, I’ll do topline info on each one – starting with Hylamide Glow. This one is (for my tastes), the best of the lot because it builds up a subtle bonne mine look with melanin hexapeptides and ketasugar so you will get a very light tan look. At the same time, it’s got a whack of antioxidants and oxidized reactive Glutathione to help even out skin tone. This is a nice one to add to your summer beauty routine.
Next up, Sensitive Fix, which as you might imagine is to deal with redness, irritated skin and sensitivity. Like a rescue remedy for sensitivities, it brings skin’s PH into balance for instant calming and in the longer term. Interestingly, a key compontent of this is the Marvel of Peru plant, which is also known as the Four O’Clock Flower – I like that better! Finally, the Hylamide booster – low molecular hyaluronic acid that you can add into any of your existing skin care products to boost your skin hydration levels – a bit of liquid pep for the complexion, you could say. If I could drink this, I would.
I’ve also spotted that a newer one has popped up – C25; apparently to tackle tone irregularities. I don’t know too much about this one yet, but it will get a post on it’s own – “creating controlled functional “confusion” for a novel, fast-tracked approach to a radiant, healthy skin tone” is too tempting not to!
Just to be clear, none of the Hylamide Boosters are tested fully yet – I’ll be dabbling as time goes on with each one – this is just more of a head’s up to Hylamide fans. Sensitive is £18, Hylamide is £18, Glow is £20 and C25 is £30. You can find them HERE if you’re up for a bit of dabbling too!

These are on offer in Boots at the min!
What’s the ml size? I have the eye serum and it’s only a 15ml bottle. At £22 a shot it’s not exactly cheap when you compare it ml-for-ml – nearly all my serum bottles are 30ml. Good product though 🙂 Tx
these are all 30ml.
Ah, good to know. Thank you! 🙂
These sound really good, especially the Glow one! I like the simple packaging too.

I am finding the Deciem products a very mixed bag.
Hand Chemistry is a lovely product, HIF (Hair is Fabric) volumising works better on me that any other volumising hair product I have tried.
However Hylamide SubQ eyes is a badly designed product in my opinion. First of all it stings for a few seconds when applied – a big NO around the eye area. Its a fairly thick cream in a small serum bottle. The pipette diameter is too big for the bottle opening and as its a thick cream, it catches and the top gets gunky and dirty, also a NO for an eye product.
The Niod Multi Molecular Hyluronic Complex is no where near as moisturising as other brands such as SkinCeuticals or Medik8. I am using it with the Niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum which comes as 2 products that you have to mix together to form a blue water which then has to be kept in the fridge – pretty inconvenient, and the water consistency is too thin in my opinion for a serum. I’ve been using the two for about 10 days now and notice no difference – the bottle says that I should expect results in 5 days.
My reason for sharing all of this is to balance things up a bit. Deciem do have some great products and are doing a powerful marketing job, but not everything is necessarily as wonderful as you might believe!
I agree.. it’s not a given that everything from Deciem is amazing – I didn’t have a great experience with HIF or the eye product and really do not like Photography Fluid, but actually disagree re the Multi Molecular because for my skin, it really is amazing. I think Copper Amino is almost a leap of faith – I know it’s doing something, but like you, can’t quite see it and yes, the fridge thing is annoying – I have already raised this with them, and also the bottles. I like that they’re experimental… and they do listen to feedback (many brands don’t) but you are correct, some products are much better than others.
These all look amazing!
