[unpaid/sample]  If you’re a reluctant riser as a nip in the air develops, this oil is for you! It’s an absolute burst of citrus and juniper, mellowed with rose geranium and lavender that leaves skin feeling softened and nourished. I rarely apply any oils in the morning (can’t be bothered!) but Ila Body Oil for Vital Energy is probably worth breaking the routine for if you feel sluggish.

Ila Body Oil for Vital Energy

In reality, I’m far more likely to use the rollerball on my wrists to bring back focus and give my brain a jolt if its tired. I found that the aroma lasts a long time so if you want to wear fragrance you might find a bit of a clash but to be honest you will smell so delicious anyway you probably won’t want to add more.

The oil itself is argan with rosehip seed and almond and despite feeling very rich, doesn’t feel ‘oily’ on the body once you’ve massaged it. I found applying it to my feet and then putting socks on was a lovely way to use it with the benefit of much nicer feet by morning. I’ve been having reflexology over the past few weeks to try and get back to my normal energy levels (still a little bit lower than I’d like) and I’m wondering if I should ask the practitioner to use it next time. It’s pricy at £48 but so powerful I think you could mix it with a general carrier and still feel benefits. Or, save it for times when you really need it – like waking up in the dark in December :-). It’s HERE.
