[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I absolutely love Shiseido skin care and make-up but it’s taken a lot of exposure to it for me to really be on board. I love Japanese skin care and make-up in general because they formulate so beautifully and it usually performs very well. I’ve featured Ultimune before – it’s nothing short of delicious on the skin but the price point is high – £125 for 75ml – so it falls into the very much considered purchase category. I feel the price point means that it’s not a brand you’d take a chance on – you’d want some pretty cast iron guarantees that it’s going do something and the higher the price, the higher the expectation. Which is why I think it’s quite a smart move to do a £50 try me set for SpaceNK customers (who have a bigger spend power than say, Boots). I’m not on board with the messaging which is strongly ‘anti’ ageing but I can’t argue that the actual products are lovely.

Shiseido x SpaceNK Try Me Box

Inside the box, you get Ultimune Concentrate Serum (15ml), a rich Smoothing Eye Cream (20ml) and two Vital Perfection Express Eye Masks (honestly, keep the packaging, shove the mask back in after using, pop it in the fridge and give it another round within a couple of days). You can do a nice little facial massage to go with it (instructions are inside the box).  You can’t buy a 15m of Ultimune (smallest size is £30ml and it’s £69 which would give the box serum a value of £34.50) but the Eye Cream comes in 15ml as standard and costs £62. So, you can see it’s a big saving if you’re an eye cream fan. The set is HERE, non affiliate HERE. However, I have noticed over on Escentual.com, there is a Shiseido set containing Ultimune 50ml, Clarifying Cleansing Foam 30ml, Softening Lotion 30ml and an 3ml Eye Concentrate for £57 instead of £95 HERE. So it depends where your preference lies.
