[unpaid/sample] I always want to do a bit more with this brand, founded in 2004 with one chair in Fenwick’s beauty hall by Vanita Parti, but I never do anything with my brows. They’re so unremarkable that they really don’t need anything at all done and at the very most, I give them a quick comb (occasionally) or deepen the shade with a brow mascara (almost never). But, I’ve been testing the Iconic Tubing Mascara over the weekend and really like it.

It’s not a new product but the brush has undergone a change to my favourite ‘skinny’ style that really gets to each lash very easily.

Blinc Brow Bar Tubing Mascara Review

A tubing mascara uses a different approach to regular mascaras by using a wrapping technology that forms ‘tubes’ around the lashes that can only be removed with warm water (basically, a soggy flannel corner). The benefit of that is that is if your eyes water (mine do in winter without fail – it’s caused, apparently by temperature change going from warm to cold) you won’t end up with panda rings. Without having gone through every single formula, I imagine that most tubing mascaras run to pretty much the same recipe, so having a decent brush is the deal breaker. I used the Blinc Brow Bar Tubing Mascara Review across the whole weekend that included a yoga session, a long and brisk walk and crying with laughter at a comedy show (Kerry Godliman – would highly recommend) so I feel it got put through it’s paces properly. It stayed perfectly giving me long and black lashes all day and it removed easily – not sure how much more of a recommend I can give! It did everything it needed to and did it well.
