True – I like that make-up is more of a level playing field these days in terms of affordability… there are so many brands that aren’t the prices of YKW and give great colours and performance.

Great to see this swatched, as the shades looked a bit alarming for my washed out skin. This would do really nicely.
I bought a few ELF bits over Xmas (those mini eyeshadow palettes) and they’re just fab, plus one of the eye primer putty thingies, which are brilliant at being a product one would never seek out but is very glad to have found! (I use a dark shade, just to intensify powder shadows)

This blush will be an immediate purchase, and there’s a weird thrill in scoring terrific makeup for peanuts, just as intense as bringing home a black velvet-pouched compact from You Know Who.
