OMG, OMG!!! Black dresses! Floaty, v-neck, deep “U”, long enough, but not (I hope!) with hem on the ground (I’m 5’3″)!!! Wanna-wanna-wanna, gonna order!!! (love the payment option “buy now pay later with Klarna” – like that I order more, try all on, send back what’s wrong for me – and pay exactly and only for what I keep 🙂 ). From the last year I have one long black dress from HM, and it’s lovely, so now time for more – great that they have now more and more options with sleeves and possibility of more coverage: walking long walks with dogs is cool sleeveless, but then I must smear sunscreen allover which is not my fav… Thanks! 🙂 (Funny: I notice that I’m driven towards black as usual, but also bright blue+white, and I suspect that beautiful dress you wrote quite some time ago did have impact on this… 😉 )

I’m with you on the black dress in summer vibe – no need to worry that your white/coloured underwear will show through and ruin the look, just wear black undies and you’re fine; no need to worry about the random sweat patches that only happen on very hot days in places you didn’t know you sweat from; and if you’re wonderfully pale, the black enhances it whereas pastels and brights can make you look washed out. I’m definitely all for black bra, pants, dress and add a jazzy FitFlop. I got my rose gold ones from BrandAlley for about £17 so it’s worth looking there for their sporadic FitFlop offers.
