[purchase/unpaid/ad] I usually save any fashion finds for Fridays but wanted to push this post out early because I feel so sure that it’s going to go viral and sell out. So, sorry for the awful pic quality – I took this on my iPhone and if ever there was a lesson in why cleaning your lens is important, this is it. But anyway, there we are – it gives an idea. I’m not usually such an early autumn/winter shopper but since I had to wear a scarf yesterday because it was so cold in London, my eyes are being drawn to sweaters and the like because the mood is more autumnal than summer right now. I picked this shirt up in my local store and actually, bought a 14 rather than a 12 because I like things to be an oversize fit and a 14 was too big for me so I changed it for a 12 by ordering on-line and collecting in store (no more size 12s in my store) so I think you’d say it fits true to size. It’s supposed to be oversized so there is ‘extra’ room but that means I can as easily wear it as a jacket with a t-shirt underneath as I can as a shirt.
Even though it’s so new I’ve worn it a couple of times already with a white t-shirt and jeans. The faux leather is SO soft – it’s absolutely not the usual plasticky pleather feel and the inside is suede-y so it’s lovely against the skin and doesn’t rustle! Sizes are 6 – 22 so there are plenty of options but I’d advise sticking to your regular size. Unbelievably, you can put it in the washing machine on a gentle 40 degree cycle – I haven’t yet so can’t report back. Oh, and the buttons are poppers. Given that it’s the best quality faux-leather I’ve ever come across I’m amazed that it’s £35 HERE.
Here it is not looking blurry!
