[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] This moussy micellar water has put a spring in my step today. I’m a big fan of micellar cleansers – they’re just so low-maintenance and easy but in addition, CHANEL L’Eau De Mousse Water-To-Foam Cleanser is the softest formula you can imagine.

CHANEL L’Eau De Mousse Water-To-Foam Cleanser

The water transforms to micro bubbles as soon as you pump it into your hand into a gloriously foamy blend that is easy to work into the skin. Imagine silk as a mousse and you have it. Because it works over so softly and nicely, there’s no need to ‘scrub’ at your complexion – great if you have sensitive or fragile skin.

CHANEL L’Eau De Mousse Water-To-Foam Cleanser

CHANEL L’Eau De Mousse Water-To-Foam Cleanser is soap free, instead using plant based cleansing agents (coconut) and an amino acid derivative (as far as I can tell, it’s also coconut) to clean the skin and they do a great. CHANEL cleansers use a marine extract and blue microalgae – in this foam, there’s also mineral rich marine spring water. The thing you’ll notice mostly, I think, is just how skin softening it is. I’m not a fan of water on my face so after I’ve worked the foam over, I just use a warm, damp cleansing cloth to remove. It doesn’t need much in the way of removal.

Apparently – and I didn’t know this – the quality of foam is dictated by the efficacy of the pump. The pump for the bottle of Mousse Cleanser is very, very small so gives a delicate, refined foam. Who knew! There is a little fragrance in this – soft and clean in nature – so if you are sensitive in that area, it’s something to consider. Otherwise, it’s doing the job that all luxury products should do which is make you feel like it’s a treat every time you use it. It’s £40 HERE, non-affiliate HERE.
