I just feel a £46 product should be compatible with every thing!

It’s not fun to trial and error with what you have but I have a feeling it would work with EL foundations!!

Thanks so much Sarah! It just didn’t work for me – maybe it would work better on more minor creases… I am not sure, but the fact that it didn’t interact well with my foundation makes it unusable personally.

Mostly things like that make my eyes worse not better – I have trouble with concealers as well making everything worse! This didn’t make things worse actually but just didn’t do anything at all.. and I tried three times. I just didn’t like the way that when it came into contact with foundation (i.e. oils) it squirled up – doesn’t make it a usable product unless without any makeup, at least, for me.

This is why we older women (I’m 44; seems absolutely ridiculous to say that) need a knowledgeable and experienced blogger like yourself we can trust. I’m 44; a part-time working professional and full-time mother. What the beauty industry fails to recognise is that woman are having babies later and as often as not returning to work; we want to stay polished looking into our 40s and beyond but demand quality products that work whilst not labouring in front of the mirror for an hour. Thank you Jane for your sensible and intelligent, much needed, work. Sarah x

I don’t have big problems in that area to be fair, but that’s the one thing that I genuinely thought performed. Once I’m through my stash of other samples, I’m definitely repurchasing.

It’s really hard for me to find an eye serum or cream that actually firms my eye area without making my concealer or foundation cakey or ball up on me. The only thing that has actually worked at firming up my eye area is the Paula’s Choice hyaluronic acid drops, which is a thin consistency and dries very quickly, so I don’t worry about my makeup around my eyes looking sloppy.
