[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s taken me a little while to get around to testing this cleansing jelly, but I gave it a whirl last night because I felt my skin needed a bit of freshening up. And, that’s certainly what happened. I think if you have sensitive skin, you might want to use with caution because it uses a mix of silica beads, bamboo powder and salicylic acid that are very thorough in sloughing.
It’s not quite a squeaky clean finish because the formula doesn’t feel stripping, but in the way that physical exfoliants can do, it really is a grime buster. My skin doesn’t need this level of exfoliation on a regular basis (it’s not as ‘strong’ as Exfolikate’ but for occasional use or for skin that is blemish prone or oily, you will certainly feel and see a fresh result. It did spring to my mind that it’s probably a godsend for teen skin and its fluctuations.
I then finished off with this – unbelievably, I didn’t spot that it’s a hair mask. This has to be an all-time careless fail but gosh, my skin feels nice and bouncy today! And, yes, it did sting very slightly but I went with it because I was in the pamper zone and it’s only this morning, searching on line for a price, that I see what I did. Thank goodness it’s Friday is all I can say. Clinique 2-in-1 is £18 HERE, non-affiliate HERE.

I had been looking at the jelly this and wondering if it was worth a go. When (or if) Summer comes I like a good scrub all over.
“I didn’t spot that it’s a hair mask” ho ho, I once washed my hair with Avene’s Cleanance cleansing gel and couldn’t work out what was wrong at first.
Glad to know it’s not just me making bloopers! I think if you like a scrubby scrub, it’s for you. x
But actually, for body, look at the Korean Cleansing Mitts for the body – the best exfoliator I know.
:))) Well, hair is part of us and also needs nutrition, hydration and so… so hair mask can’t do much harm I guess… My friend once used anti-cellulite cream sample on her face – and only after few days asked me about translation of the text on package, complaining that “it is rather harsh”…
Oh dear – but it’s good to know it’s not just me!
