I do love an oily balm. So I might add it to my treat list. It sounds like my dry skin would like it.

From memory, it’s lighter and fluffier still – I mean, we are splitting hairs but I prefer this one for very dry skin because the oils are so lovely.

How does it compare to the Elemis cleansing balm? It looks like a similar consistency/texture in the photos.

Neal’s Yard Balm is also lovely so I think you have made a good choice there 🙂

I’m mad about cleansing balms, having finally settled pretty much on Neal’s Yard WildRose one, which is extremely profligate of me.
I’ve always been leery of Sisley, owing to their padding out their lauded botanicals with mineral oil at every turn, and therefore never justifying their extremely high prices, to my eyes . Clarins with gold knobs on!
But blithely ignoring fabulous brands is a sure way to miss out on gorgeous products, and you’ve really described this one most alluringly. (And some of the classic Sisley fragrances really do capture Grasse and its Provençal environs perfectly, so there’s that too!) Thanks so much.
