Usually what I do is wait til I think all the specifically ‘christmassy’ things are in and then have a small sale for my friends with things that haven’t been swatched or tested. Last year we raised £600 which was split between a local homeless charity (999 Club) and Beauty Banks if I remember rightly. It’s a very small thing and this time I felt we all know MAC well enough – particularly the skin finishes – but of course BBB readers take priority and if you want to see them there are plenty of other things that aren’t swatch dependent. It’s unrealistic to think I can use everything myself and I’d really rather they had a second life way or another although I’m not sure what will happen this year.

I do not think you need to swatch the other two items, and in the case of the lovely Skinfinish Trio, I can see why you would want to keep those textured items pristine. They look gorgeous!
