Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation seems to be getting rave reviews across the pond and is being heralded as the real dupe for Armani Maestro. It doesn’t seem too dissimilar to L’Oreal Nude Magique Liquid Powder but Dream Wonder Fluid Touch has all the slip and runniness of it’s much more expensive counterpart from Armani. And it’s $9.99! Oh, and it has a little tear-drop wand applicator (not unlike the new YSL foundation). Tear drop wand trend for foundation.. I didn’t see that one coming!
I seem to remember a press release from Armani saying that there was nothing with the same ingredients on the market, and in a way Nude Magique ended up cannibalising Maestro (they’re all part of L’Oreal) and I’m guessing, from the fantastic response from bloggers in the US for Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation that it might do the same to both Nude Magique and Maestro.
The only negative I’ve read in the 12 shade line up is that it doesn’t last a long time.
I don’t have any UK date for it yet.. but of course, I’ll update as soon as I do.

Oh my god, maybe similar to the old wonder finish foundation by maybelline? I miss that so much!
I’ve never got on with the really runny foundations! My skin just seems to hate them! I don’t know whether it’s just a formula I’m not used to applying or whether the formula just doesn’t sit right! Although, for $10 its worth a try!

I have this and reviewed it on my blog! I like the feel of it but yeah it definitely does not last as long compared to other silicone-based foundation.
Would love to see a comparison of this vs maestro (and maybe the loreal one) to see how they differ!
