[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] So, here is Guerlain Holiday part 2 with the lovely Golden Bee palette. I’m having a very on-off relationship with palettes at the moment because my make-up mojo isn’t back in full swing yet but some of these shades are very tempting indeed.

Note to self not to wear a rainbow sweater when taking pictures! What a gorgeous pattern – bees and stars.. a proper burst of golden glamour.

At first, I thought this was quite an unadventurous palette – no bad thing and no harm in safe shades you know exactly what to do with but looking at it again, and swatching, it’s a bit of both. Some very decent trusty colours – a matte taupe for example, or the frosty pale pink – but the deeper green and purple colour is perfect for a smoky eye that’s just a little bit different.

I still don’t know what I’d do with the pistachio green though! The brush that’s included is a double ender and the brush end is really quite a nice applicator brush.

I’m not sure why but Selfridges has this for £47 instead of £59 HERE, non affiliate link HERE.
