[unpaid/sample] I don’t know if you remember I reviewed one of the new neutral Posh Glosses – Tan Lines? I was accidentally sent two of the same shade so I am revisiting Tan Lines as a compare and contrast with another shade that I now have, Bikini. A nude lip look is something that personally, I find quite hard to wear. But, recently I’ve come across one or two that I think actually, yes, this is something I can wear without feeling I’ve disappeared.
So, on the right is Tan Lines and on the left is Bikini. Bikini is much paler than Tan with a pinky undertone but what they both have in common, and I think is the key to them being so wearable, is that they’ve got a milky element to them. I’ve looked everywhere to see if I can work out what makes a lip gloss milky – I mean I understand that its pigment but I was interested in whether it’s as simple as adding white. But, I never found out. There’s something about a milky lip though that’s just very pleasant.
So, bottom is Bikini, top is Tan Line.
Tan Lines on me..
Bikini on me – and I don’t hate it. They’re £26 each HERE.
