No that’s not the desired effect! Personally I stay away from anything with too much shimmer (technical term!!). There isn’t much you can do about that because its down to the fineness of the product – if the shimmer particles aren’t fine enough then unfortunately the sparkly face effect is the result. Look for liquid shimmers instead as they tend to be much more refined in texture. You could make it a multi-tasker though and use it just on your eyelids as a glamorous evening shadow – just add lashings of black mascara and it will look fab. You are allowed to have glittery eyes!

When I looked in the mirror I did in fact have a disco ball face. Is this the intended effect or am I just incredibly inept at applying make up?
