A tenth anniversary really is something to celebrate – I have a special bond with the Emma Hardie brand because I was there at the first launch a decade ago. I can remember it really well – Emma was informative, full of personality and such a wonderful, passionate advocate for skin care and self-care that I left the event feeling completely elated. Moringa Cleansing Balm was a front-runner in the (then) newer concept of cleansing and nurturing your complexion with solid oils – I don’t think I’ve ever converted to an idea so thoroughly. Taking on the concepts and rituals of a facialist (Emma was famed for her Natural Lift & Sculpt Facial at the Hale Clinic) was the path to taking control of your own skin – an enlightening and joyful route.
At the time, Moringa Cleansing Balm came with a pot of Rosehip Exfoliating Seeds – teeny, tiny little dots that gave an extra, exfoliating dimension to your cleanse. In the 10th Anniversary special edition, the little pot of seeds is back for you to add if you wish.
Although Emma takes a back seat these days, the Emma Hardie brand could not advocate her original methods more – putting the concept of being your own facialist with the right products into so many hands. You are the expert in your contours, your skin texture and your preference of touch – nobody knows your face like you do so who better to nurture it than you?
