[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I very much like this new mascara from Lancome. Lancome Idole Lash is using exactly the type of brush I like with micro bristles that coat the lashes and get properly to the roots. I swear that one day we will ask ourselves why we ever had the traditional brushes that never could give the promised ‘sweep’. It’s the better sweep through using this style that makes the difference, I think.

Lancome Idole Lash Review

As you see, there’s a nice curve to the applicator giving an even more snug sweep. It’s a gel formula, meaning that it won’t go hard and crispy on the lashes. It’s big sell is lifting and I really do think it gives some lift possibly helped by being able to apply further down the lash than normal brushes – my eyes definitely looked more open and awake after using it.

Lancome Idole Lash also gives volume – both length and width – but because the brush separates well it’s more of a natural volume and fanned look than a coated big-lash look. The shade is ‘Glossy Black’ – it’s not glossy (I wish it was!) but it is a deeply intense black. There was no clumping although I did find a small amount of flaking at the end of the day. I’ll happily use this up to the last stroke. It’s £23.50 HERE, non-affiliate HERE.
