I hear you – but I think it’s important that the outer cover represents the inner – this is just such a mis-match on that count. It’s not so much about how shelf worthy it is but that the consumer has a general idea of what’s inside. For example, is there anything about that tube that would make you realise that it’s a better than average moisturiser? Or that it contains mica so you get a subtle skin sparkle? Packaging matters – it doesn’t have to be sophisticated, luxurious, wasteful – those things aren’t necessary but I personally like to have some sort of visual indication of the product inside. I think you’re right – was looking at (my) past reviews and everything is very pleasant – but needs a make over imho 🙂
