Somewhat unbelievably, Revlon is 80 next year! There’s a whole heap of history and background to this brand, and I’m working on a piece for the blog that covers it. In the meantime though, I’ve fallen totally in love with one of the 20 new shades they’re bringing out in their 80th year and it’s a beautiful nude shade called Elegant. I found it very hard to capture the exact colour either inside or outside in natural light, but it’s kind of ‘the one’ for me with pale caramel tones undershot with some grey. If I had to be pushed to describe it to something, it would be a half-shot latte. I’ll also mention that some hurried rummaging in my handbag gave me two broken nails in one week which is why they’re so short.

Ooh these look interesting. Some look a bit like shades already available in the US (that pink glitter in particular), I wonder if they’re all brand new. I’m deeply excited to read that we’ll get the lip butters next year, I hope this is true as they look amazing! That colour looks lovely on you! x

Its a great color. I push the boundaries of acceptable nail polish colors at the office but this one looks great and appropriate.
