Yay or nay? I love and loathe in equal parts! This is Neon Yellow from the new M&S collection of brights and colours – a very economical way to work out if you can rock the pastel/brights heading our way for Spring. It took a good 3 coats to get a decent coverage, but using a Seche Vite top coat, dried well to a dense shade of Daffodil!

I’m not sure I like it, It may look great when you see it against your outfit but…jurys out here.
I’m impressed with the density of colour (although sounds like a lot of effort to achieve it), but it makes your hand look like a bunch of bananas. Your nails are a nice shape though – forgive the banana comment?
Blee!
Not a fan but I like the look of the Lemon China Glaze one in the up &away collection.
I say yay!
i actually quiet like it!!
im deff going to try it hehe
I have to say I quite like that it would be lovely with a tan x
Daffodil Yellow indeed!
I actually think I quite like it! Have been tempted to get a more pastel shade of yellow recently.
I really want to love it but I’m not sure. My fave colour is yellow and I’ve been trying to find the right tone for my hands, it always looks a bit strange for some reason…
I’ve never tried yellow nail polish, but it looks kind of cute on you. I’ve been testing some coral shades in the past few weeks and I’m getting used to the idea of having my nail painted in bright orange 🙂
Def a yay! I love any shade that makes you stop in your tracks. I think it would look best on short nails.
I think it might be better with a little shimmer/glitter, but it looks ok!
I’m a new viewer 😀 Check out my blog and follow me! Tell your friends, cuz I only have 3 followers 🙁
I love it! I have China Glaze in Solar Power (similar color), and I’ve gotten SO many compliments on it! I felt like it looked silly at first, but I do like to try out new and fun colors! It’s different and fresh! 🙂
I’m undecided… I think it looks great in the shot and could probably wear it for 24 hours – but I think it’d be one of those nail colours that would start to annoy and irritate me if I wore it any longer.
I love your nails, love the pic, love the post, love the subject, love the idea, love everything…
But the look is terrible!!!
Sorry, I feel the extreme need to be honest here, (probably because I never commented in other yellow nails)
At the end of the day that will not look pretty… A litle bit like the 80’s
My favorite color is yellow, but I have never tried this color on nails. It’s looking nice.
Not being an expert in these things (as I’m afraid you’ve already dicovered) I feel compelled to tell you…NO! This is quite possibly the most vile colour choice, ‘density of sick’ I’ve ever seen. It’s actually making me queasy. Please never wear again. And someone write to Marks and Sparks – this is not good for us, our nails, or the economy.
Ghastly.
Errmmmm….no thanks.
Ali
So I hear a lot of NO’s and on fingers I wouldn’t try it but – on toes with a glrious tan – yellow looks fabulous!!!
