she sounds like such a good dog! you’re right – everything is washable. She’s not sleeping with us but comes in for her ‘second sleep’ at about 6am.

Got a bit a dribble on the lovely newly washed & pressed White cotton linen. But it will come out in the wash. In the winter I usually have a throw &/ or on towel to try & minimise paw marks but better since she has got older see now sits on the mat if it is wet to have her paws cleaned. Hope you are enjoying her.

I’m looking at linen ones, but meanwhile I have their dark grey and off-white with mistletoe pattern cotton tablecloths – lovely! Funny enough, that mistletoe pattern looks like any twigs with leaves – so absolutely not bound to the Xmas season in my eyes 🙂

We’re mostly satin-people when it comes to the bed linen, but my youngest son lately wanted “grown-up upgrade” of his room (it was about a time – Spiderman curtains and bed linen in 15 years old boy’s room look… well, outdated indeed 😉 ), so together with real leather cognac-colored office chair he got also brownish linen bed set (he doesn’t like silky touch and was in love with this rough design) :). That one was from IKEA, something like 60 Euro for one-person set.

I so understand this dilemma of “dog-&-bed” situation though! We just got XL bed sprey and in the evenings throw it over the bed (with whatever color linen, he) and enjoy couple of hours of reading or tv-watching with all our three doggies and sometimes also kids (and a glass of wine… or two…). Ah, getting big (biiiiig!) bed was the best decision for the bedroom renovation! 🙂 (Now we can do another 20 years before next change 🙂 )
