[productsample] I actually couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened up this collection. The night before I’d been craving blue toe nails and had to settle for a blue that I’m not quite happy with (D&G) because it’s not exactly the right vibrant blue I wanted. The very next morning, exactly the right blue appeared! So the old one has to come off and I can’t wait to get the new CND shade, Dimensional, on.

CND Prismatic Collection

Actually, it’s quite an oddly named collection – Holographic is anything but, being a baby pink and unless I’m missing something completely, Ultraviolet just isn’t.

CND Prismatic Collection

I like the collection for not being too obviously summery – forest green Aura is much more of an autumnal or winter shade but I don’t think we segment so much any more. They’re all in the Vinylux formula so have great last but you do need the Vinylux top coat to seal the colour down.

CND Prismatic Collection

In the swatch from bottom to top: Ultraviolet, Dimensional, Psychedelic, Holographic and Aura. There’s a bit of a problem with stockists – the only place I can find it stocked is charging £3 more than the RRP of £11.95 and it’s not available on their usual stockist, nailpolishdirect.co.uk. This brand need much better availability outside of the salon environment – especially as there is far less competition in the nail retail market at the moment. I’d love to see it on FeelUnique or ASOS – just anywhere that you can get a quick nail fix exactly when you feel like it rather than having to trawl around for a supplier.
