[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] I think if we turned the clock back even just a year ago, the new Love Me Liquid Lip Colour would have been a matte formula. Mattes are falling out of favour somewhat and reflecting that, Love Me Liquid Lip is satin.

As you’d expect, they’re power packed with pigment – all 18 shades. Lipsticks are now very much back on the shopping list as we come out of crisis mode (along with high heels and handbags apparently, although I’ve been tempted by neither).

The first colour I have is Tres Blase, a kind of nude-ish rosewood that has enough about it that it’s a suit-all shade. These colours can be a bit draining on me but this one isn’t – it’s made more powerful by the pigment intensity.

The second shade is Gift To The Gods which is a very deep, winey red. I’d like to be the sort of person who can wear this colour, but reality strikes – I’m not! With this kind of shade, you’re very reliant on it applying evenly and not fading patchily. The Love Me Liquid Colours promise a 12 hour stay and I did find the last very good – but must be honest and say I didn’t give either the full 12. I would expect, as a matter of course, for a shade like Gift To The Gods to need some maintenance to stay perfect. The satin finish is lovely – as is the formula, which contains argan oil and shea butter and I didn’t experience any feathering from it – important if you’re going full on with reds.

They’re £19.50 each HERE, which sounds positively reasonable compared to yesterday’s £62 number. Cheap, even :-)). Non-affiliate HERE.
