[unpaid/sample] I’ll start out saying that these are just too sweet for me – they’re almost hyper-flavoured with fruitiness but if you love a flavoured balm, you’ll find them blissful. We are back at the days of Bonne Belle (which incidentally, closed in 2015, retaining the only the Lip Smackers label in Europe and Asia – I still would love a Strawberry roller ball gloss again though).
The tubes would really benefit from an applicator nozzle rather than a flat opening as it is. You have no choice but to put some product on your fingers to then apply to lips (I guess you could use a brush if you’re organised) and I’d have preferred a direct-to-lip approach I think. The balm formula is quite pigmented so you will need to wipe your fingers afterwards.
There are four shades using cocoa butter and responsibly sourced beeswax in the formula – it’s very light and completely non-sticky but quite a loose consistency and I found at least once on squeezing that clear oil came out before the colour.
From bottom to top: Watermelon Rush, Berry Sorbet, Sweet Peach and Mandarin Granita. The scent, by the way, does wear off quite quickly but it’s a bit of a big smack right at the start. I put some on over an hour ago and can still feel the emolient benefits. They’re £5.99 HERE.

Strawberry roller ball lip gloss? Jane, you are really messing with my lizard brain this morning!
Haha.. sorry :-))
Go to tinge cosmetics and you’ll find that strawberry rollerball – and now they’re organic. So good. And such a reminder of those first lip balms in grade school.
Ooh that’s exciting!!
Sorry – stupid autocorrect. Tinte cosmetics. Vintage styled lip tins and roller balls
got it!
Jane, you’ve taken me back to my teenage years in the 70’s mentioning the roller ball lip gloss. I still have a half used Max Factor Lip Potion in Wild Strawberry that I’ve never been able to throw away.
It still smells of strawberry too!
Keep it forever! I wish I’d kept mine 🙂
