[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] CHANEL always brings out a bath and body collection for the festive season, varying up the fragrances year to year. If I’m honest, I’m always hoping it’s a No5 year because it’s my favourite and has been since the day my nose met it.
I would have to say that my top pick from the new collection is the hair mist – CHANEL is generous with the amount of fragrance in their hair mists so you get the full No5 from it and you can save your precious drops of perfume.
There’s a twist on hair mists of Christmas past – this time around, the formula has an extra active derived from jasmine and rose that softens your tresses and gives them a little shine.
There’s also a Shower Gel (£42), a Body Lotion (£48), a Body Cream (£68) and a Deodorant (£42) – my next pick would be the deodorant because it’s really such a treat to change it up from the day to day Tesco own brand. I haven’t performance tested it yet, but my next yoga session will be more glamorous than usual, that’s for sure.
It’s a sign of the times I think that P&P is free, as is some extra nice wrapping with a hand-written card if you wish, and each order comes with two free samples HERE. I never used to order from luxury brands directly because their ‘extras’ were never as good for the on-line purchasers as the retailers but it looks like they’ve caught up. I had a good experience with Gucci when I ordered a lipstick but haven’t ever ordered directly from CHANEL. Anyway, great news for CHANEL No5 lovers – the original and in my view, the best. If you’ve never smelled it, it’s sweet, soapy, floral and fabulous. Non-affiliate HERE (although it’s showing in $ and after my burn with Pat Mcgrath, I have no idea whether it really is an active affiliate or not.. but declared just in case).

Aaaah No 5! And there’s a lovely new campaign with bellissima Marion Cotillard and un beau monsieur.. I have Coco Noir hair mist which is super perfumed (not sure I can managed the actual scent in edt / edp quite yet) and a lovely way to scent up and get to know the perfume without too much spend. Had to laugh at your Tesco vs Chanel comment 😀 – if only I could afford Chanel deo every day. I’ve ordered more from Chanel online this year and loooove the packaging and little samples, even for a single item. I like the limited edition 100ml presentation boxes… better start saving up! Bonne journée Jane xx
It’s all so nice isn’t it! Chanel hair mists are so well fragranced – you can easily use as a general perfume and it’s only somewhat lighter. Also, you can do a pillow spritz with it if you fancy dreaming of Rue Cambon 🙂
I always order direct from Chanel – they’re generous with their samples, and delivery has, so far, been very efficient.
That’s good to know 🙂
