[unpaid/ad/sample] I flagged a few weeks ago that icy blue for nails is a spring thing this year. I like the idea of it well enough but just not sure about the reality! I find it always the case that when edgier shades look challenging on fingers they can be quite at home on toes so perhaps that’s where this blue hue will end up.
So, above from right to left you can see Desert Dust, Headliner and Petal Power which is a really lovely mix of peach and pink. The theme is indie music festivals with flower and earth shades that fit so nicely into the spring feels.
From right to left is Centre Stage, Dreamcatcher and Bestie, the latter being an intriguing off white shade with tiny red glitter particles.
I like these for a gentle transition from winter colours to spring without going full on summer (oh hey Nails Inc and your avocado green!) and while I’ve been writing this I’ve remembered I have a lovely taupe cashmere sweater which I think might be a good partner for those blue tips! These shades launch at the end of the month when hopefully the wind and rain will have passed a bit and our eyes need to see new colours. Jessica polish is £11 each and you can see the full selection HERE if you have an urge for some brights.

Ooh Dreamcatcher is calling my name…it’s looks the perfect brownish/red bold but softer if that makes sense…? I love pale colours but just not on me UNLESS my hands have a bit of colour about them…so without fail I’ll paint a nice pale spring like colour…and within 24 hours I’ll have wiped it off again!♀️
