Whether you’re into mantras or not, I think we could all do with some goodness going on right now. I spotted the Mantra website a week or so ago, and loved the messaged pieces… didn’t do anything on them and then out of the blue about three days later, their PR got in touch. Quite a co-incidence. So I called in some pieces to photograph (before returning..although I’m going to now order the Love bracelet in gold).
There are all sorts of categories (mostly with ear-rings, necklaces and bracelets in silver, gold or rosegold plated) such as Inspiration & Self-belief; Happiness & Optimism; Direction & Dreams; Love; Luck & Success; Protection & Faith; Appreciation; Family and Friendship. I don’t know about you, but sometimes I do forget to be appreciative of the things I have and those around me – all of which I’m truly grateful for – catch me on a grumpy day and it’s a different story!
I don’t really think it matters where the reminders come from, as long as they do, every now and again. Positive messaging is really so important and I’m just thinking that celebrating the good things – whether it’s passing exams or achieving something amazing at work or even just hitting a personal goal you never thought you would – we often don’t take the time to do it. I’m as cynical as they come (and don’t even have a yoga mat, never mind a teacher) but something about these I find very touching.
