[purchase/affiliate] If this sweater appeared in Vogue, I’m fairly certain it would be as a ‘chuck over your bikini or wear with white shorts’ on holiday in some exclusive Sardinian resort – as it stands it’s being worn by someone who lives in south east London, is dodging the rain and is about to go to Tesco. So there we are.
I actually bought this Scandi brand sweater in Fenwick on a quick trip into London (it was empty – if there is ever a time to go shopping, it’s now – no queues, a good in-out system, lots of stock) where it was reduced to £75 from £180 – it was the last one. I’ve found it at Selfridges for £95 HERE. Non-affiliate HERE. It’s £108 at Net A Porter in the sale. If you’re holidaying in the UK, it’s ideal because as we all know, the weather is unpredictable and it brings the right amount of summer – and warmth – to whatever the sky brings. The knit is very loose and slightly see-though (I am wearing a neutral shade Uniqlo bra top underneath) and it’s machine washable at 30 degrees. I’m really pleased with it – black and white is my home territory but more recently I’ve been experimenting with sloppy style pastels and I think I’m a convert.
